Los Angeles native, Jerry Caratachea was born on July, 1995.Better known to his fans as JAYREEH, He was raised in the same city he was bornin, East Los Angeles, CA. Jerry has focused on mastering the skill of DJ-ing for over 7 years. Jerry has been listening to house/techno music since the early 2000s. His interest in music was introduced and influenced by his older family members. His knowledge of mixing and music theory grew as he listened to his cousins who were in mariachi bands and attend house music events. Heavily influenced by the likes of Nicole Moudaber, Dennis Cruz, Victor Romero, Hector Couto and Alessio Bianchi. Coming from a Latin background, it gives him an advantage to Latin influences and unique sounds with tribal instruments and Latin vocals.
