Consumed with real life and it’s pressures, LEYVA’s performances tend to be his therapy, as well as that of his audience. Born and raised in New Jersey to young parents who exposed him to their eclectic collection of vinyl that ranged from funk, jazz, disco, rock n’ roll, latin and soul, it’s suffice to say that his musical influences run deep. Today, this inspiration translates into his sets and his production. His track selections span the musical spectrum that clearly demonstrate the influences of his adolescence.

Never hesitant to push boundaries, he’ll drop a disco, deep-house, tech-house, techno or a classics set if you wanted him to. Needless to say, he has a true embrace of the dance-music culture and absolutely loves to show it.

With the support of family, friends, colleagues and the mentorship of house music legends, Roger Sanchez and Boris, LEYVA has been able to achieve, in a short period of time, what other lifelong DJs and producers could only dream of.

His relentlessness to succeed and innate desire to hone his craft, has garnered him performances alongside international headliners and track releases on UNDR THE RADR, GO DEEVA, HOTL RECORDS, EXIT 32, XIMA, BRASH BEATS (UK), LOST MINDS RECORDS and HOMEWERX MUSIC.

In early 2020, on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic, LEYVA successfully launched his own record label, LOST MINDS RECORDS. In conjunction with the Lost Minds Radio Show, which airs on Miami’s premier electronic music radio station, Revolution 93.5 FM, his reputation as a talented artist and DJ gained serious traction by reaching new listeners, that he can now call fans.
